It was a truly inspiring and motivating experience to meet up with the Indian Blind Cricket Team, the current WORLD CHAMPIONS in men's blind cricket. Hearing their life stories from some of team members were both appalling as well as awe inspiring. These were the stories of people showing the whole world around them what true grit is, albeit they can not see the lights themselves. Some of them were born blind, some lost their eyesight due to accident of disease, and the society around them, sometimes even their own family members, completely discarded them! Still they conquered the world with sheer determination and indomitable spirit.
We were equally honored and proud to meet these world champions and present some little memento, our small gym bags, to each of the team members.
